Insta-Friday 9/7

Finally posting my insta-friday again. It's been a busy couple of weeks over here, now that summer is over I hope to get on a more consistent posting schedule.

Here are some pics from the past 2 weeks or so...

beautiful evening sky after a rain storm

we went on a camping trip, this car was jam packed with 5 people...it ended up being extremely miserable in that tiny car on the way home 

but the car ride was worth it to see this beautiful place in Wyoming

this place is called Martin's Cove where pioneers took refuge from the terrible winter

my husband and I enjoy a good happy hour at Sonic, gotta love $.50 slushes

there may be some changes around here in the coming months...but not for awhile :)

don't you love finding old pictures? this is a picture of my dad, brother & cousins back in the 80's

my husbands parents live about 1.5 hours south of where we live and the sky is always so beautiful on our way to their house. look at those rays!

insta-friday 7-13

It has been forever since I posted last! Here are the past couple weeks in Instagram fashion.

I went to San Diego for a work trip a couple week ago. The fitness room looked right out onto the Padres field, too bad there wasn't a game going on ;)

I enjoyed a delicious Italian Soda at The Old Spaghetti Factory

Last weekend we went to a rooftop concert in Provo, we had such a great time. The band did all Tom Petty songs, and I love Tom Petty so I really enjoyed it. My husband loves music so he just enjoyed it because it was loud and live :)

I finally got a maxi dress...and I love it!

Way too many cute fabrics have been on sale lately...who knows what I'll do with them...but I have them and that's all that matters ;)

instafriday 3/9

this week...

we put together our new bed...it's a long story but I've been waiting for this for a few months now, so glad we finally have it!

 we bought plane tickets to go visit my parents in Italy!!

 I wore floral tennies, thank you Target

 had to renew my passport and my husband got his first one...don't you love passport pics?

this picture is much better than my first passport, thankfully

and I painted my nails...again :)

A little InstaFriday for y'all

 my lunch every day this week...yummm. I highly recommend bagel thins (only 110 calories)

 my husband and I have been playing a lot of MarioCart :)

I've never beat him

 my workplace...I was a little tired

 stripes & floral are a great combination

 I got a manicure a couple weeks ago with my best friend and now I've been all about painting my nails, red was the color of the week

 my super messy craft desk

Golden Spoon is my favorite

 I made a little drawstring bag for my lunches, I love how easy drawstring bags are

 obsessed with these right now!

I also made a grocery bag holder, much better then having them stuffed in the cupboard under the sink!

Wow it's been a few weeks since I posted, 

here are some pictures from this week in lieu of my non-existent posts recently.

 this week I've been missing my mom...she's my best friend :)

 for Valentine's day my husband made me a thread holder, it's perfect, tutorial coming soon

 this picture hangs at my desk, it's one of my all time favorite paintings, I bought it from a painter in Florence

 my husband and I enjoyed a beautiful afternoon at the temple last week

 made lasagna rolls one night, my favorite variation of lasagna

 my office moved, this was my old desk all cleared off, our new office is huge and so is my desk

 watching Cheers in bed with my husband...a nightly ritual

 I tried my first blood orange, unfortunately Utah doesn't have very good produce, but it was pretty good

my husband remembered my favorite flowers and got them for me on Valentine's day, love him :)
