We started this project a month ago...but it was put on hold because Hobby Lobby was completely out of stock online and in stores of the knobs I wanted. We needed 12 and they only had 4. So I checked every week and finally this last week they had them! I was quite excited.
Our nightstands started out looking like this for $35 a piece, such a good deal at Ikea.
And now they look like this
I've been obsessed with dark wood & white painted pieces for awhile now and when I found this on an Ikea hack (google ikea hack if you aren't familiar) website I fell in love. We could have bought the nightstands that matched our bed but I didn't love them and they were $100 each. So these were a much better deal and I LOVE them!
We stained them with Dark Walnut and used white paint that we had leftover from painting our dining table. We lucked out because the white paint matches our new bed perfectly!
We used these knobs from Hobby Lobby that match our bedding.
Now to get some cute lamps!
